Dr. Stephanie Burk, DVM
"Doc Steph" is a Middletown native, a 1976 graduate of Madison High School. She received a BA in anthropology from Miami University in 1980, and became a veterinarian in 1988 upon graduation from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Her favorite areas of her work include wound repair surgery, and the challenge of keeping "Senior Citizen Pets" healthy and happy; she also enjoys sharing the fun of veterinary medicine with school groups of any age. Her least favorite part is "running the business."
In her "copious spare time" she enjoys reading, writing, traveling, gardening and "just messing around with the horses" including trail riding and endurance riding but mostly cleaning the barn.
She has lived in Madison township since 1972 and has numerous "furry kids" including 2 horses, three dogs and (at last count) fifteen cats ("but not all in the house!!! Really!").
